CNC Jaali for Mandir & Pooja Room: Materials, Designs & Tips
A CNC-cut jaali is one of the easiest ways to give a mandir or pooja room a beautiful, finished look. The machine cuts the pattern precisely from a board or wood panel, so even detailed designs come out clean and repeatable.

Which material should you use?
MDF and similar boards give very clean, fine cuts and are ideal for painted jaali (white, cream or gold). Plywood adds strength for larger panels. Solid wood suits a polished, natural-wood look. Keep the jaali away from direct water and heat from lamps or diyas — we suggest the material based on where the panel will be fitted.

Size and placement tips
- Measure the exact space: height, width and the depth available.
- Decide where the jaali goes — back panel, side panels, doors or top arch.
- Backlit jaali looks striking: an LED strip behind the panel lights up the pattern.
- Keep the central motif (such as Om) where it will be seen easily when you sit or stand for pooja.

- Choose 2D (flat cut-out) or 3D (carved relief) style.
- Agree on the material, thickness and finish.
- The design is prepared on computer and cut on our CNC machine.
